General Statement:
This is a key management position responsible for effective development, implementation and administration of the P.L. 93-638 contract programs, functions, services and activities (self-Determination contract for Law Enforcement).
Provides management direction and accountability assuring efficiency of operations, effective administration and quality service delivery.
The Chief of Police administers law enforcement services within the jurisdiction of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes, Fort Hall Indian Reservation. Provides effective execution of law and order, and compliance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures set forth within 25 C.F.R. for law enforcement, 18 U.S.C., current BIAM, Tribal Law & Order Code, Tribal Ordinances, and relevant Federal or State statutes.
NURSE PRACTITIONER

General Statement:
This is a part-time clinical position that provides direct patient care in the Women’s Health and/or the Well Child clinics.
The position serves clients within the Shoshone-Bannock Tribal Health and Human Services (THHS) Community Health Nursing (CHN) program. The THHS is jointly accredited with the Indian Health Fort Hall Service Unit through AAAHC. The incumbent can qualify for benefits with an established work schedule of at least 20 hours per week. The scope of work may be expanded to include a prenatal clinic or a family practice clinic depending upon the NP’s scope of practice and certification.
UTILIZATION REVIEW COORDINATOR

General Statement:
The Utilization Review Coordinator position is responsible for providing a variety of social work services to patients/clients and their families, including criteria/medical necessity and appropriate level of care, discharge planning, consultation, referral to community resources and assisting clients in the maximum utilization of needed federal, state, local and community resources. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, identifies barriers to effective treatment and resource allocations for managed care.
Serves as resource to the health care team on best practice related to treatment, documentation, community and alternate resources, (Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, etc.) economic, social, emotional, mental, spiritual and cultural factors and evaluates the impact of these factors on the delivery of comprehensive health care.
ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST

General Statement:
The Environmentalist Specialist works under the Tribal Department of Energy (DOE) Project Office. Will coordinate Tribal Government review and comments of DOE Documents and other federal environmental documents. The Environmentalist Specialist will conduct environmental oversight/sampling, monitor activities at the Idaho National Lab and work cooperatively with the DOE, DOE’s Managing and Operation Contractors (M&O), other entities and Tribal Departments/Programs.
TEACHER AIDE TRAINEE

General Statement:
This is an entry-level position designed to promote early childhood development.
The Teacher Aide Trainee assists the teacher in the classroom. Work is of a general supportive nature, associated with various aspects of the program and is designed to reinforce instructional activities of the Early Childhood Programs.
Upon occasion will be expected to drive or ride assigned busses in transport to field trips, to the summer lunch program etc. ensuring that safety rules are always followed.

This position works with the Community Health Program in performing paraprofessional duties for personal care primarily of elders and disabled patients. The Tribal Property Manager administers and enforces approved policies and procedures. Develops and maintains standard guidelines and procedures for the procurement, security, accountability, use, disposal, and management of tribal property and property administered by the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes.

General Statement:
Protection of the integrity of all gaming and gaming related activities at the Shoshone-Bannock Indian Lands. Responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures are in compliance with IGRA, NIGC Rules and Regulations. Tribal Gaming Ordinance, Internal Control Standards as adopted by the Tribe, and Tribal-State Compact. Oversees all departments and Gaming Commission Auditing Departments.

General Statement:
This is a commissioned law enforcement position assigned second in command management responsibility of the Law and Order Department. Acts as Chief of Police as necessary. Accountable for the effective execution of law and order in compliance with rules, regulations, standard operating policies and procedures set forth within Title 18, 25 Code of Federal Regulations (law enforcement) current Bureau of Indian Affairs Manual, Tribal Law & Order Code, Tribal Ordinances and relevant Federal and State statutes, management directives of the Chief of Police.
CHIEF PROSECUTOR

General Statement:
Primary responsibility of the Prosecutor is to investigate, compile and present cases on behalf of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes. Is responsible for supervision and accountability of staff within the prosecution department of the Tribal Court System.
